TPS563201 Two (identical) capacitors on input and output.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS563201

Hi there, Buck experts!

I have a question regarding TPS563201 which I am planning to use in my next project. I am currently looking into the datasheet typical application schematic and into the reference design schematic, both of them are using two, absolutely identical, 22uF output filter capacitors and two, also absolutely identical, 10uF input capacitors. I haven't found any comments there, why do you guys use two caps instead of one? I can very well understand using the caps combo (say 0.1uF/10uF), but using the two absolutely identical capacitors confuses me. Apart from cost (it might be that two 22uF caps are cheaper then one 44uF ceramic cap) I can't see any reason of doing so. Is it ok to use a single cap, and why(when) one should use two caps?
