Noise reduction using linear regulator .

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS7A49

Hello Everyone

I have benn looking through TI website and reading linear regulators data sheets, but I could not find a the part with the specs I am looking for.

I have a 12V battery supplying power to sensors and data logger.

One of those sensors requires a very quiete and stable 12V source. It consumes around 50mA, but I'm considering 100mA for safety.

The solution I want to implement is a DC-DC converter from battery voltage (10-14V) raising voltage to 15V. (Something like TEN-5-1213 from Tracopower).

This DC-DC converter oscillates at 300kHz and has 500mV pk-pk ripple.

I 've been looking for the correct linear regulator to reduce overall noise to belloww 10mV, using also filtering capacitors.

Could you please suggest some regulators ?

Those I looked have not enough PSRR or require a higher drop out voltage.

I will be looking forward to hear from you.

Best regards,
