Dear Team:

 Our customer would like to place TPS2546 in their desktop  product that have main boad (8inches length) and dauther board (6inches length).

They don't know which board place TPS2546 better.

 They would like to know TPS2546 can driver how many PCB trace lenght?

And need our suggestion to place TPS2546 in main or dauther board.

    TPS2546 has only an analog switch for the D+ and D- meaning that it only passes through the data signal and has no driver.

    We recommend placing the TPS2546 as close as possible to the downstream USB connector. So, place the TPS2546 on whichever board (mother or daughter) has the USB connector.
