An issue of the OFF time vanishing occurred in Cycle-by-Cycle ILIM hiccup mode operation.
Many cases of load current increment has been tested during Cycle-by-Cycle ILIM period.
In some increment current levels, OFF time before restart period is vanished.
The application circuit jumps into the restart operation just after SS pin voltage hitting 3.6V from Cycle-by-Cycle ILIM period.
As a result, SS pin voltage swings between 4.65V and 3.6V, without OFF time.
If the load current level is decreased back to a lower level, the circuit goes back to normal hiccup mode operation shown in Figure 42.
Are there any methods to prevent this OFF time missing mode?
