  • Hi Basil,

Thanks for your interest in the UCC29950, TI also has a number of dedicated PFC controllers such as the UCC28180 which is an 8 pin fixed frequency CCM device. The UCC28180 is a lower cost device compared to the UCC29950 which is a combo controller for PFC + LLC.

On the UCC28180 you can find a number of reference designs ranging up to 3.5kW, www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware

By the way was there any particular feature of the UCC29950 that was of interest to you?

    Regards

    Peter
  • Hi Peter-san,

Could you tell me about UCC29950?
My customers are interested in this device.
Does this device is using UCC28180?

    Customers are using the UCC28180.
    For that reason,
They are expecting that has a built-in familiar device(UCC28180).

Please the detail information of combo chip.

    Best regards,
