BQ76940 Balancing issue

Hi Team,

My customer is using our BQ76940, and they have a concern about the balancing function.

Can BQ76940 balance cell voltage between different cell groups? For example, C1 and C7.

Since cells have separate input resistors for each group, balancing can operate in different groups.

In the bq76940, with every-other in a group, 9 cells can be balanced.

( note avoid balancing adjacent cells simultaneously)

generally, although ALL Cell balancing registers can be turned ON, But user must avoid it. May damage the IC.
