We are programming the BQ25120 on our board using I2C. The schematic is attached.
Below are the registers we are changing
1) Address - 0x06 , Value - 0xAE ----> DC/DC 2V output
2) Address 0x07, Value - 0xD4 ----> LDO 2.9V output (We also pull up LSCTRL pin to VSYS)Beta_20160514.pdf
Our power source was Vin = 5V. We did not have the battery connected.
Upon programming, we did see the DC/DC output 2V and the LDO output 2.9V. However, after ~ 50 sec (while the Vin is still present) both outputs seem to reset. DC/DC goes to 1.8 V and LDO goes to 5V. We also tested this with both of these individually, to narrow down the root cause and still have the outputs reset.
Is there any other register configuration which we need to make? Is it happening because of some fault condition? We checked the current load and that seems to be very low and is constant. We are able to reproduce the issue on multiple boards.
