We understand that BQ76920 behaves as a peripheral that requires external intelligence. For example, charge balancing requires a suitable algorithm that runs in an separate device such as a microcontroller. This brings us to the question: do you have an application note or similar that explains how charge balancing can be achieved (Li-Ion batteries) using the BQ76920?

    sorry, we do not have an apps note or s/w snippet to share at the present time for passive cell balancing scheme using the bq769x0.
    However, document SLUA509( inside of product folder bq3060), that gives an in-depth detail on External Cell Balancing in bq3060. The concept of balancing can be implemented using uC.
