Could you help review the TPS54531 Vin waveform and schematic? What is the SOA for the TPS54531? If over 30V max voltage in 100ns, will that cause the TPS54531 damage?
It is on MP stage. And the fail rate is high. The pin2 Vin are brown out.

1. Vin = 25.3V / Vout =10.62V / Iout = 2.72A
2. Vin = 25.3V / Vout =15.71V / Iout = 2.72A

Hi John,
It is for the TV LED driver board, so the current is ramping fast.
We suggest customer SS capacitor change to 10nF. However, it still has the fail damage on Vin pin.
The Vin max from scope customer captured is 29.3V. The fail rate is improved on the China factory production line. Did you have idea why Vin pin is still has chance fail after changing SS capacitor to 10nF?
Will the EN tied to Vin and higher Vout voltage output related to this Vin brown out issues?
