TPS2553 current limit question

Hi Team,

customer is evaluate the TPS2553 and got a question need to check with product team that per data sheet features at page 1 said it up to 1.5 A Maximum Load Current, adjustable current limit is 75mA ~ 1300mA(typ). But description said these devices offer a programmable current-limit threshold between 75 mA and 1.7 A (typ) via an external resistor. It confuse customer and need product team help to clarify. Thanks.
