Hi
Can anyone suggest the SPDT switch with two input and one output and one selection pin for my application.
The continuous current carrying capacity should be more than 700mA.

Nitesh

Nitesh,
As Shreyas mentioned above the TI signal switches and multiplexers do not typically handle this high of current. I used the switch selection tool on ti.com and selected 1:2 SPDT switches and sorted on continuous input/output current from greatest to least. As you can see we don't have many signal switches that meet this requirement. I will move this thread to the drivers and load switches forum where they have products that can support higher currents.
Thank you,
Adam
Hi Nitesh,
Between the switch from 3.3V to 2.5V, can the power to the system drop down to 0V, or is a seamless transition required? One of our simplest solutions is the TPS22910A + TPS22912C (as shown below).
These devices are both load switches which connect VIN to VOUT when enabled and will block current in both directions when disabled. The TPS22912C is active high, and the TPS22910A is active low. Therefore, when the enable signal is high the TPS22912C is active, and when the enable is low the TPS22910A is active.
Do you think a solution like this would work?
Thanks,
