TPS22962 - Information about the maximum switching characteristics for the temperature range -40, +85 degree

Hi Massimiliano,

Can you please provide the VBIAS and VIN voltages the customer is evaluating the part at?  This way I can provide data at those voltages for the temperatures requested.  Are all timing parameters important, or is the customer just looking for variation in turn on behavior (rise time, delay time)?

Please note that these will be estimates, similar to the typical data.  Timing may vary due to CT capacitance variation and device process variation.

Hi Massimiliano,

I went down into the lab and took some measurements using the TPS22962:

VIN = 1.2V, VBIAS = 3.3V, COUT = 0.1uF, RLOAD = 10Ω

Temperature (°C)	Delay Time (us)	Rise Time (us)	Fall Time (us)
-40	723	677	2
25	640	669	2
85	554	673	2

As you can see, temperature does not have a noticeable effect on the rise or fall times of the device.  The delay time decreases as temperature increases.
