Hi,

I need for battery charger chip for Li Ion Battery 4.2V single cell.

Charging mode- CC/CV

The charge current should be 2-3A.

It should very cost effective solution's. Looking for linear charger chip .

My power source is 5V USB port.

Please recommend me for the same.....!!!

    Hello Shiv,

    You could review the bq24075 as a USB linear charger solution, but it can provide 1.5A charge current. Typically for large charge currents above 2A, we recommended switching chargers for the efficiency improvement. Any restrictions on your design that switching chargers is not an option? You could start reviewing the bq24190 device.

    Do you need D+/D- detection and OTG as well?
