bq24230 / Power on process under EN1=high, EN2=low

Hi Team,

My customer confirmed Q1 FET(connected between IN and OUT) is still off even if Vin exceeds UVLO threshold under the condition of EN1=high, EN2=low as the following graph.
There is no battery connection at BAT pin in this evaluation.
Is it a correct feature of bq24230?
I couldn't find a description that correspond to the feature in datasheet.



If he set EN1=low and EN2=high, Q1 FET turns on when Vin exceeds UVLO threshold as datasheet shows.

    Can you include the plot of EN1=Low and EN2=High?

    The plot you included seems to show Q2 on at UVLO and ties OUT to BAT.  Once VIN is above the regulation voltage, Q1 turns on and takes OUT to its regulation voltage.  See the Description of OUT in the Pin Functions table.  The Electrical Characteristics table shows VDO(IN-OUT) along with VO(REG) for when Q1 will turn on. 

    Please include the /CHG and /PGOOD signals, which may help indicate the state of  operation.

    My customer is evaluating with bq24230EVM.
    Is Vout feature under EN1=high, EN2=low condition a correct operation for bq24230?
