UCD9222 device configuration

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCD9222

TI-Digital-Power-Manufacturing-Tool-1.2.127 has previously allowed configuration using a .xml project file with a screen "Select Initial Device Configuration Mode for UCD9222 @ Address xxd" that indicates This UCD9222 at address xx needs to have its rail and phase configuration set. This entails writing to the devices's PHASE_INFO parameter. Please select how you would like to proceed:  and option 2 allows "Import a device configuration from a project file"

When using the Tool with a device that has already been programmed, attempts to load the same .xml file throw an exception that "TIDP.TIException: Sorry, it appears that you are trying to load a Fusion GUI project file in the Manufacturing GUI."  How do I get back to the screen"Select Initial Device Configuration Mode for UCD9222 @ Address xxd" ?

I have tried working with the "Firmware & Configuration Download" Tool in Fusion Digital power studio.  A scan finds the device.  Attempting to start the configuration download at the found address using the same .xml project file produces a fatal error with message: "Could not find a Texas Instruments part number within the DEVICE_ID parameter that this program supports. DEVICE_ID contained 'UCD9222-xx|x.x.x.xxxxx|xxxxxx'." (all x in this post represent single decimal digits in the message.)  IC Family selected is "UCD3xxx / UCD92xx / UCD90"

In addition can you advise if there is command line executable program that could be used instead of the GUI Tool, to configure the UCD9222 ?
