My requirement is as follows:
The AC adaptor or just a car lighter will be a source of charging the portable device. The device will be equiped with 2s2p Li-Ion (7.2V) battery pack. The main unit requires +5V supply. Please take a look on a simplified block diagram .. Block_Sch.pdf
Of course the discrete components within bq24618 will be recalculated. Is my idea OK? Any comments are very welcome.
