We seem to be stuck trying to use the watchdog on the UCD90160. We wanted to use the WDO as a board reset (tied to pmbus ctl – causes power cycle), but it stays active, so the board will not come up. we can’t use it to reset the sequencer, because we lose the state of the reason for reboot. Unless we do some one-shot circuit with the wdo, I’m not sure what else to try.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I see that whenever I modify the assert watchdog bit in the system reset config register the board resets.
I have tried the following to no success.
1. Disabling the register doing the modification and then re-enabling the register.
2. Removing the reset pin configuration when I modify the watchdog bit and then re-enable the same.
Is there a way I can achieve the modification without going through a board reset, which effectively gets logged as a system watchdog timeout?
