My requirement goes as belows for biasing a set of 30 opamps at a time
Input available from battery : 28V
1. +2.5V @ 1A(o/p voltage @ o/p current)
2. -2.5V @ 1A
3. +5V @ 1A
4. -5V @ 500mA
first of all is it better directly connecting all dc-dcs to one battery voltage input or use a LDO in between to bring the voltages down to +5V
and then use dc-dcs to attain maximum efficiency, kindly suggest a high efficiency approach ?
28V to 5V LDO followed by individual dc-dcs ?
for now i picked
LMZ4201 for both 1 & 3, the dc-dc may provide 80% efficiency with 28V input to 5V and 2.5V conversion
how about bringing 28V battery input to down to 5V and then using same dc-dc to distribute +2.5 +5V or anyother based on requirement,?
Kindly provide help on generating 2 & 4
