Hi,

I want to verify the Standby current in the LP5523 EVM, how to do it.

I also want to test the current using my MCU and not the onboard MCU on the EVM.

    You can set the jumpers to select Vbatt and Vddio from external source, supply both vbatt and vddio with external power supply via current meter. Setup the test condition according to datasheet page 4. Check the reading on the current meter and verify it against the datasheet. There are 3 type of standby current, so make sure you setup the condition accordingly.

    I am not sure what you meant by "test the current using my MCU", the current consumed by LP5523 is not affected by which MCU you use.

    Ok, I think only the vbatt should be connected and not vddio.


    [Verified] With Vbatt connected to current meter, the values are as per datasheet.
