This appliacation is a notebook.

When notebook in S4 or S5 status, it will disable TPS2546.

My customer would like to plug device in and wake up TPS2546 for charging device.

Could TPS2546 can support this function?

How to do that?

You can find that information in the datasheet in the Power Wake section (starting on page 20).

Hi Eric,

It seems like not the same function.
Power wake section still let TPS2546 in an "enable" status, then it choose the power rail between LDO and switching power.

But my customer's notebook will "disable" TPS2546 in S4/S5.
Until the device plugs in, then TPS2546 wakes up to charge.

Am I right?

TPS2546 won't be able to support a wake function when the EN pin is low. In order for the mouse/keyboard wake function to work, EN must be high. VBUS is not on to power the HID when EN is low so the HID could not wake up the system via the D+/D- lines unless maybe it was battery powered.
