I have questions on TPS71501 Cfb

The data sheet shows Cfb (feed forward capacitor) on sheet 10, but has no verbiage about its effect on regulator response or stability. Is there anything that can help us quantify its effect (on transfer function)?

 Is the regulator fully functional and stable without Cfb?

    Hi Ed,

    The use of Cfb is optional (also known as a feed forward capacitor), it is not required for stability for TPS715. There can be advantages of adding a Cfb including improved PSRR, Output Noise, and Transient Response.

    TPS717 was not extensively tested with a Cfb.
