About LM5026 build OVP function by external components

Hi sir,

May I know if we need LM5026 build OVP function by external components, we can pull low DCL PIN?

if change LM5025, we can use which one PIN to implement OVP function? thanks.

Neither LM5026 nor LM5025 appears to provide built-in OVP function. You might want to look into another device UCC2897A which is also very popular for active clamp forward topology applications. It provides a dedicated OVP pin.

BTW, if we need use latch function, LM5025 RT Pin can support ?

Kuo,

Are you trying to implement the latch function by disabling the clock when faults happen? It is worth trying even though RT pin is not meant for that purpose.

It is stated in the datasheet page 14 that RT pin can be disabled by connecting RT pin to REF pin (5V).
