EV2300 internal resistor damage with BQ78350

Hi,

Customer is connecting battery pack based on BQ78350 to EV2300 for MP calibration.

There are 100Ohm internal resistor damage issue of EV2300.

After replacing 100Ohm resistor, it work normally.

I think it is due to ESD damage because issue is just occured after connecting.

Do you guess main reason is ESD damage?

Do you have any advice besides adding TVS?
