TPS63000 - Parallel CR2032?

I design a portable device. I use battery coin and Power IC TPS63000DRCR. I want more capacity so I use 2 batteries CR2032 in parallel and I isolate them by diode to avoid cross current charge. My current load is about 5 mA. I have some questions:

1. Is the schematic OK?

2. What happen if one of diodes is shorted?

3. Can you advise me the good isolated schenatic for parallel batteries?

Please begin the title of your post with the part number.

Do you need 1.2A at 3.3V? I don't think CR2032s can supply this much power.

Generally, a device like TPS61291 is used in these sorts of low power systems with single cell batteries. If you want to use 2, I usually see them connected in series with a TPS62745 buck converter used to get 3.3V.

Either of those devices is much more efficient at very light loads due to lower Iq.

Your question is not clear. The TPS62745 is not an LDO.

2 batteries have the same amount of energy, whether they are connected in series or parallel.
