Hello,
I am studing on BQ76PL455 and I am wondering the max. number of IC in stack?
The datasheet describes this number as 16. Why we limited with 16 ?
Thanks for answers.
Best regards

I mean number of chips in daisy chain with twisted pair. Why this number is up to 16 ?
Thank you very much for your information. I have to use a chip with 11 cells because of physical limitations. Because of this reason, i have to use 24 chip for 264 cells which my target number of cells. Is this impossible with BQ76PL455 or just not-easy/ not-recommended ?
Only 16 ICs in a stack can be supported. You will need to implement 2 stacks, with a PL455 configured as communication bridge on each stack (lower module stack and upper module stack) to support this...
