Following are the queries.
- Output voltage regulation varies for no load condition. From 8V to 18V input supply, output voltage observed is near about 5V. As we increases the input supply more than 18V then output also increases & regulates at 6.88V. This is the observation while we tested up to 36V input supply. But, with some load (1A) connected on output, no variation has been observed. Output voltage gets regulated to 4.8V to 5V
- Noise on output has been observed. While, we checked the Gate drive of Mosfet, we observed that the noise on output line is in synchronization with the Mosfet switching. At the time of Mosfet turn On or turn Off, noise has been observed on output lin.
- Please clarify us on short circuit protection behavior of this device. We need short circuit & over load protection on this output.
- Power dissipation in LM5088 has been observed more in comparison with the calculations. Please help us in getting it reduced.
