Hi,
My customer is evaluating the LMR16006, and it is broken.
They think that this reason is inrush current.
The reason are;
- The output large capacitor which is 200uF.
Because there are 2 LMR16006 on their circuit and only broken LMR16006 has a large output capacitor(200uF).
The other one does not have a large output capacitor(it is 10uF).
- And braking is occurred when start-up.
Is there a possibility that the soft-start, current limit and thermal shutdown doesn't work by a large output capacitor?
Using condition is following;
Vin=24V, Vout=5V, Iout=0.6A.
