Looking to develop a converter with >95% eff that has an input range of -36V to -57V and output of the same but positive voltage. So no need for feedback control.

Power 1kW or tandem 500W.

Is the UCC28089 Primary-Side Push-Pull Oscillator with Dead-Time Control controller of interest? Maybe not for the full 1 kW load, in this case I would have you look into the LM5045 Full-Bridge PWM Controller with Integrated MOSFET Drivers controller.

Thank you for the reply. These devices are fine for feed back control type.

I wanted to pursue a full-bridge drive using transformer Vishay PLA51 for example. Then use a full-bridge output rectifier, no feed-back.

Hi, Robert

Do you want open loop control?

You can configure LM5045/LM5046 as open loop control mode bu floating COMP pin.

LM5045 is for hard-switching full bridge topology, LM5046 is for phase shift full bridge topology.
