Good morning,


Could someone explain how the BTP feature works in conjunction with the thermistor TS1 pin on the IC? The reference manual states that it is optional, but I don't believe that it clarifies whether the designer is constrained to using either the external thermistor or the BTP feature.     Blake,
    You are not constrained to using either or. You can use both features. Temperature is measured every 250ms. The BTP on the other hand is a one time thing where the Ts output gets asserted when the conditions for BTP is met.
