UCD90160 - Use project file separate from original system file

Hello,

I had a system which used multiple UCD90160s (.tifsp file), and I want to take one of those project files and use it by itself. I exported the project file using the tool in the GUI. But when I open the exported project file in Fusion GUI Offline Mode, make changes, and then save and close, I get the following error:

Even if I say 'Yes' and make a system file, I get the same error upon opening and closing the project file the next time.

Is there any way to save this project file so I can work on it by itself and not get this error every time I close Fusion GUI?

Thanks,

Jonathan

  • Hi Jonathan

This is not a error message instead of confirmation message, system file and profile file are different level or configuration. under offline file, when a project file is closed, GUI always asks whether a system file is required to save since some customers want to save a system file from a project file.

Your project file is properly saved, you can just click no for this pop-up message.

  • Hi Yihe,

Thanks for the reply, and glad to hear it's not something I misconfigured.

Quick follow-up question: If the software always wants to create a system file, and the system file contains the entire project file, is there any benefit to keeping the configuration in project file format?
