 Hello guys,

 One of our customers is considering to use TLC25921A. The customer wants to know about the follwings.

 Could you please give me your answers?

 Q1. What is changed by SS capacitor value? Is it VOUT rising time only? Is Inrush curret changed to achieve the VOUT rising time? 

 Q2. Is it no problem that SS terminal is open?

 Q3. Do you have any recommended SS capacitor value?

    SS capacitor value determines the Vout ramp time and also controls inrush current according to equations 2 and 3 in tps25921A datasheet.

    Q2. Is it no problem that SS terminal is open?

    The SS pin can be left floating to obtain a predetermined slew rate (tSS) on the output. When terminal is left floating, the device sets an internal ramp rate of ~50V/ms for output V(OUT) ramp.

    Q3. Do you have any recommended SS capacitor value?

    Appropriate value of SS capacitor has to be chosen for successful startup. It depends on your system voltage, output capacitance and load at startup.

    Can you provide details to suggest suitable SS capacitor value
