TPS563209 FeedBack Resistor Value.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS563209

Dear TI employee.

Do you kwon which FeedBack resistor value as shown blow.

I know recommmend resistor value(33.2KOhm, 10KOhm) in datasheet for 3.3v output .

Can I use 332 Ohm, 100 Ohm feedback resistor for 3.3v output?

If you have a any question. please contack me anytime.

Best Regards

Gerald

  • Feedback resistor values are an engineering trade off. High values have less losses, but may bes susceptible to noise. Lower values have higher noise immunity, but the losses are obviously larger. Values in the 10 k range typically give a good balance. TPS563209 is somewhat susceptible to noise, so higher values than what are shown in the datasheet are definitely not recommended. Your choice will dissipate 25 mW. I don't see an issue if you can live with that loss. What is driving you towards such low values?
