25W PD solution for POE

Hello,

               if customer need 25W PD for POE with 4 pair cable. Do we have any solution to meet requirement? Thank you.

    Hi Patrick,

    If you have a method for your PSE to turn on pairs 3 and 4, you can use a typical 25W PD solution. Like TPS23754EVM-383. I recommend taking the TPS23861EVM and using its GUI to manually turn on pairs 3 and 4 to test this.

    If looking for a dual PD solution. I recommend looking at the TPS2378EVM-602 and keeping the TPS2378 front end and changing the converter to a 25W solution. TI Designs is a great start when looking for a 25W converter only solution geared toward your power requirements.
