UC2842 using WEBENCH

Hello, I am trying to implement a design using the controller UC2842. After I call for the part (in your web page), I have the option to create a design with using WEBENCH on-line program. So far it is great because. I never have been used your controller, So I need to leanr how to use them. After I ran the software (WEBENCH), I got a result with a design. I am not an expert using your parts but I think the schematic the program is giving me has the opto-coupler inverted. The diode part of the opto is on the primary side and the transistor part is on the secondary side of the design. Could you please check my design and clarify with me this issue. I am attaching my design hoping somebody can help me. Also, is ok to you to review the whole schematic for other possible issues? thank you so much. Hi Victor,

You are right. The optical coupler was misplaced. The connection ways should be like Figure 25 in UC2842 datasheet.

Also you can refer chapter 9 the application and implementation of the datasheet for the design instructions.

I suggest you follow the datasheet first.

You are welcome to ask questions in the forum when you have anything unclear.
