I have a query about the BQ76PL455A-Q1. Are all the inputs are protected for short circuit to supply voltage and short circuit to GND?

If these pins are not protected to short circuit to the battery pack voltage short circuit in this case it will be (16 cells x 5V = 80V). is it right.

What is the solution for this.

Also solution for short circuit to Ground?

There is internal ESD protection, but external protection diodes are required to prevent damage to the IC in case of short to adjacent cells or GND. Please see section 8.1.1 of the datasheet for the recommended external protection circuits.

Hi Stephen, Can you also comment on withstand voltage with reference to ground for each cell voltage measurement pin

The internal protection on the cell inputs reference the adjacent channel, not ground. The VSENSEn-VSENSEn-1 parameter in the absolute maximum ratings table in the datasheet provide the value.
