BQ27320 - State Of Chargeof a battery

I could recommend some materials to you for running the EVM.

1. You can use EVM guide to set up the hardware connection and the Battery management studio. I think this can help you power it up.

You could tell me more specifically of why the gauge can not be powed up. 

2. After you run the EVM normally, you can log the register values as an csv file, and the SOC is in it ,too. The detailed explanation of register can be checked in TRM listed below.

Dear sir;
Actually I checked the evm the problem is that that the pack+ and pack- both are short with each other.
And I get this shipment yesterday.
Is it possible that ti replace it for me.
Coz it's not working properly.

Could you tell me that under what condition that you test the pack+ and pack- are shorted? with the battary? with the power on or without the power on?

Actually, we are rarely have the quality problem of new EVM, so could you check your power on process or set up connections to verify it?

Sir;

First I just connect battery to the pack+ and Pack- and with the help of Ev2400 I check that is the software working or not but it doesn't not connected to the software,
Then I checked the connection and more than 10 times then I think checked that what is the problem then by using (DMM) Digital multimeter I checked the connnnections, so I saw that Pack+ and Pack- is short with each other.
And by using the power own like making the connection it's good my to hot.

Does the light of your EV2400 turn green? Let's check it first, please make sure that you connected your EVM with right I2C.

If it is right, could you give me a picture of your connection?

At the same time, please make sure you choose the right gauge in BQ studio.

I read the full data sheet and according to it, i connect the BQ27320evm and Ev2400, but the main problem is that the terminals are short with each other as i write before and i did not use it only one day. i will be very thankful to you for your suggestion and kind reply.

Hi zeeshan,

1. When link gauge to BQ studio, the display screen just means that the software did not automatically detect the gauge, but you can continue click OK, and it won't hurt the gauge.

2. If he pack+ and pack- are shorted, there are no ways for us to connect the battery with it. We cannot make the battery anode shorted with battery cathode.

Thats grear to know that the battery does not work when the anode and cathore both terminals are short, sir that the Problem that from the first day i am crying to you People that what Kind of device you People send to me,

even does not used just a single minuit and as checked that in the device there is a Problem, i will be very thankful to you for the act that you send me the procedure that i will return back this bq27320evm or the Company send me an other one.
