BQ28Z610 CHGIN, CHGSU, and OTFET Settings: FET Option bits

Hello,

To start off, I am aware of the differences between the Charge Inhibit bit and the Charge Suspend bit. The TRM states in sections 4.13 and 4.14 that both the Charge Inhibit and Charge Suspend bits will protect against high and low temperature limits. My question is, what is the difference between the OTFET bit and the other two bits? Is there a reason for having a dedicated over temperature bit when the other two bits already cover that condition?

Thank you for your time,

Blake
