TPS2553 - About behavior of this device when ILIM pin is shorted to GND or opened.

I will check to see if this behavior has been tested. If the customer has an EVM they can also observe the behavior through testing on their own.

I did test the power switch circuit you sent of your customer and got the following waveforms for three RILM settings; open, 15k ohms, and shorted to GND, please find attached the waveforms I got for each RILM setting when loading current (IOUT) = 0 Amp and when (IOUT) = 1.5 Amp.

1. RILM is open:

  a. IOUT = 0 Amp.

 b. IOUT = 1.5 Amp.

2. RILM = 15k Ohms:

 a. IOUT = 0Amp.

 b. IOUT = 1.5 Amp.

3. RILM = Shorted to GND.

 a. IOUT = 0 Amp.

  b. IOUT = 1.5 Amp.

I would like to know about behavior when RLIM is open.

According to waveform b, IOUT is limited in around 75mA.

So, I understand it is behavior same as " SHORT ILIM to IN".

Is my understanding correct?
