The connection of BQ24157's OTG pin

I want to use BQ24157 in large current mode, referred to the datasheet, I should connect the OTG pin to high level.

Should I connect to the input of USB(VBUS), or to the Battery side?

My friend connect it to the output of a LDO, and the LDO connect to the output of BQ24157. Is it OK?

I recommend connecting to the battery. VBUS could have hot plug spikes higher than the OTG's abs max rating. The LDO goes low during HiZ even with VBUS connected.

Why the LDO goes low during Hiz?
At high impedance mode I think the LDO can get power from the battery , can you explain it ? Thank you ~~~

The original teacher customer for this part (Nokia) did not want the LDO voltage available externally when in HiZ mode.
