Hi team,

Customer want to test the his panel to study new feature with TPS65175.

My customer had a question for the operation when GCLK and MCLK are sent from controller without GST input signal.

it means that the GST is always low and GCLK and MCLK are sent from controller following the signal requirement of TPS65175.

In that case, is the output CLKs will be properly generated or not.

I am worried whether the state machine generate proper CLK outputs with GST signal.

Hello Eric,

Please excuse the delayed response.
During normal operation it shall be no problem as there are other logic signals that resets at the beginning. However in case of an abnormal state the GST is required, so this might be a drawback. Unfortunately we cannot run simulations on this.
The customer has to verify every possible case to judge whether this will work out for him.
