TPS61099 Capacitive load

What is the reason of the maximum value of the output capacitor in the "Recommended Operating Conditions" paragraph? In our application we have to charge a supercap (2.5F) with minimal load (25uA until the supercap has been charged). Cannot the device startup using the internal startup sequence and current limiting? (a very long startup sequence is not relevant and several minutes are acceptable).

    sorry for the late reply. the reason we suggest the capacitance is that we have verify the performance of this device in this capacitance range.
    for your application, it should be OK from the operating principle of the device, although the startup time is long. and i would suggest you apply an EVM to verify the performance with the super capacitor.
