We are using a BQ34Z100-G1. The parts have 0100_0_06 firmware. The .gg being used is in the correct (older) format for the 0100_0_06 firmware. However, reading registers 0x10 & 0x11, current, via I2C always returns 0x0000. We were told that the newer 0100_0_16 firmware fixes this issue. We updated a part to the new firmware and it does address the issue. Now the issue is that there is not a compatible .gg.csv file for Battery Studio.
1. Is there a tool that converts a .gg to .gg.csv file that will be compatible with the newer firmware or does the whole golden image process need to be done over?
2. When using the 0100_0_06 firmware, is there is work around for reading registers 0x10 and 0x11?
3. Is there an SREC file available for 0100_0_06 if we want to downgrade back to the older firmware?
4. Other than the issue reading registers 0x10 and 0x11, is there a compelling reason to migrate to the 0100_0_16 firmware?
Thanks,
Cary
