I got an inquiry from one of my customers on a gate drive solution. Here is their inquiry below:
We prefer to use transformer based approach. The IR paper is our initial reference for a high duty cycle approach with a transformer. Most isolated gate drivers have a supply on the output side which we do not want. We were hoping that probably you have done some paper on using gate drive transformer with high duty cycle with minimal headaches when used.
The solution should be low parts count since space is limited and no supply on the output side. Should work with up to 90% duty cycle and no issues during fast duty cycle changes.
