Generate Golden Image file on production board

For the learning cycle running, does your link with bqstudio in your customer board is normal? Is the I2C communication normal?

Hi Anand,

I'm not aware of any linux/android/uboot utilities but you can run the learning cycle manually on your board.

1. discharge battery to empty.

2. send IT_EN command

3. wait for gauge to take OCV reading (~5 hours)

4. charge to full

5. wait for gauge to take OCV reading (~2 hours)

6. discharge to empty at rate between C/5 and C/10

7. wait for gauge to take OCV reading (5 hours)

Hi Anand,

You would need to read out your data memory values over I2C. If you have a EV2300 or EV2400, you could try connecting the EV2300/EV2400 to the gauge's I2C lines to extract a golden file.
