Hello,
I have a question regarding the condition of valid charge termination. I attached the following image to hopefully help.
The first bullet point in section 4.6 states that if the CHGFET bit is set and the TC flag is set, then the CHG FET opens. The previous line, if I understand it correctly, states that the Valid Charge Termination Condition block must be met for the CHG FET to open or turn off. So, are there two conditions by which the CHG FET will open? It sounds like the first bullet point is one and the table is another. Also, the first statement in section 4.7 seems to negate the first bullet point in section 4.6. In the first bullet, the CHG FET is turned off when the both of those bits are set, but in the first sentence of 4.7, the TC bit is a result of the CHG FET being turned off. Could someone clarify what exactly the TC and FC bits do in regards to the state of the CHG FET?
Thank you for your time.
