Hello,

I want to use TPS65911 in my design. I am not using any off the shelf processor mentioned in datasheet but something else/customised.

My requirement for voltages ate various DC-DC is-

VDD1 - 1.2V, VDD2 - 1.1V, VIO - 1.5V, LDO1 - 2.5V, LDO2 - 1.2V, LDO3 - 1.1V, LDO4 - Not Used, LDO5 - 1.1V, LDO6 - Not Used, LDO7 - 2.5V, LDO8 - 1.8V

Also I do not have any 5V in my design, hence all the inputs (including VCC7) is 3.3V.

Now, I want to use which part number to use (complete)? and How to program EEPROM for custom settings outputs?

My voltage settings do not match with fixed boot settings.

Hi Pankaj,

EEPROM is only programmable by TI, as customers cannot access the internal banks of the device. For a custom device with these configurations please contact your local FAE or TI sales office.

Can test boot mode help? Is there any way where you switch on PMIC without any output and then program it using registers settings?

Can you explain a little about test boot mode?

Also, will TI program EEPROM for smaller quantities like 10 or 20 units?

Hi Pankaj,

If you have a master i2c controller you can manually set the values while in Test Boot mode. Test boot mode will allow i2c access but will not enable the regulators. I've attached a .json project file that was saved within the IPG-UI while booting from the Test Boot mode. You can upload this as a saved project into the GUI to get a clearer understanding of how the device is configured when BOOT1 is left floating. /cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/196/6131.Test_5F00_Boot.json

Unfortunately TI cannot program low quantity orders.
