Hey there,

I'm curious as to what the difference is between these two devices and what are the best tools TI offers to aid in evaluation.It seems as though the 'UCD90SEQ64EVM-650' supports the UCD90160 but does it also support the A version?

UCD90160A includes function enhancement over UCD90160. They are pin compatible so the EVM supports both devices.

will program files made for non-A parts still properly program an "A" part?

Project file(.xml) from non-A can be used on the A part.
hex or csv file can not be used on the A part.
