BQ76940EVM - Different Current information in datasheet

Hey Everyone,

I wanted to use BQ7940 in my design, so want to understand few things, So I observed in datasheet of BQ76940 there are different Currents like SHIP Current, Delta Ship Current & Leakage Current (Iship, dIship & Ilkg). So can anyone explain to me what is the significance of giving these currents separately.

Please help me understand the same.

d(xxxxx) denotes differential current measurement @ the specific test condition. some measurements are single ended.

We are doing power consumption during SHIP mode, So
1) can we take addition of all 3 values?
2) If Yes, then total SHIP mode current should have directly given as SUM of all 3 current values

Hello Vish,

I want to know the difference between 'Iship' and 'Ilkg'. It would have been easy if SHIP mode current included overall current which includes "Iship+Ilkg"
