Thanks for the reply. I am using the bqStudio 1.3.52 and Chemestry Version 502 as shown in the figure attached. I verify that there is a new Chemistry version (531)

Do you think is something related to the bqStudio or Chemetry versions?

This is the image for the last message, I forgot to attached. I tried again using the new Chemistry version 531 but the result is the same. The bqStudio 1.3.52 seems to be the most recently version.

What do you suggest to do?

Is this issue going to generate wrong calculations on the fuel gauge?

Try programming chemistry again and see if you see the same error.

I updated the file mentioned but there is no change. The message is still appearing.

I am running bqStudio on Windows 10@64bit. What do you recommend for the next step?

I updated the firmware with the file from TI web page; unfortunately, the message is still appearing. After the the firmware updating, I verified the Data Memory\Ra Table; it seems that the registers are been written correctly even after bqStudio and HW reset.

Am I missing something?

Apologies for my late response. You updated the chemistry correctly, the message just indicates the .bqz file is old (this should not affect your chemistry programming).

I will post another .bqz file once it has been revised.

Hi Julio,

You can run charge and discharge cycles without the learning cycle, your accuracy will likely be off however. I suggest updating your configuration data, then perform your charge/discharge cycles.

The EVM2300 needs some minutes to download the golden image, could you recommend a fast programmer for mass production at factory?

Julio,

We do have an EV2400 but your limitation will be the communication speed of the gauge itself. I recommend exporting a df.fs file to use for programming other gauges. This file should be smaller in size than your other file format options. Just make sure to confirm your gauges all have the same firmware version.

Thanks for your response. I will make some tests with the df.fs; I been using the srec file for the demonstration boards.

Right now, we have some doubts related to the bq27742-G1 programming and calibration, I made question in the link below:

Basically we want to know if the golden image can contain the batch calibration data. Is it possible to perform just one calibration and program this data for all the batch?

Hi Julio,

Your golden file should contain calibration values and should have written these values into memory when programming a device.
Yes, it is possible to perform one calibration and program that image to the rest of the batch.
