Good morning. I purchased the LM3466 .I followed the circuit from the datasheet but I can not turn to the powerLED 3W. Please could you a practical example of the wiring diagram? The capacitors are tantalium?

How many LM3466s are you using?

Are you providing a current source to this?

The LM3466 is intended to share current among multiple LED strings. You can look at AN-2182 to see an example of the values used. The datasheet is fairly straight forward in choosing the values to use this.

Hello,
I do not want to use the LED string, but only one power 3W LED. I think my mistake was to use a normal power supply voltage instead of a constant current power supply.

If you want to use a voltage supply you could create a buck converter using something like the TPS92515 that would regulate current. If you have a current source and one load (and the current source is the correct current), it should be able to connect directly.
